In celebration of its 16th F1 Constructor's Championship, Ferarri is offering a 499 limited edition iPods. The catch is that if you want a 16GB Ferarri iPod Touch, you have to buy the Ferarri it comes in, the limited edition Scuderia Spider 16M.

The Scuderia Spider 16M is the first car with at personalized 16GB iPod Touch. These limited edition Ferrari iPods are packed with special content such as photos, videos, and Ferrari engine sounds. Why one would want to listen to Ferrari engine sounds on an iPod while sitting in a Ferrari is beyond me. The iPod sits in the middle of the dashboard in a special dock where it can be easily reached and removed. Buyers who want a more standard stereo can opt for a Cascade radio with Bluetooth and iPod connectivity, and Ferrari will still throw in the 16GB iPod Touch. You'd think Ferrari would spring for the 32GB Touch, but perhaps that wouldn't fit with the 16 theme.

The Scuderia Spider 16M is a drop-top version of the Ferrari F430 Scuderia. Its 16M suffix is short for "16th Manufacturers," indicating the 16 Championships Ferrari has won. The 16M is about 176 pounds lighter than a standard F430 Spider, weighing in at 2,954 pounds. Under the hood, you'll find a 510 horsepower V-8 engine that delivers a 0-62 time of 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 195 mph.

The F430 Scuderia not only bears the name of the company's Formula 1 outfit, it also reflects many details found only in the company's single-seater racing cars. Michales Schumacher was actively involved in the development of the Scuderia, so it was fitting the car was first unveiled to the public by the seven-time F1 champion at the IAA Motor Show in Frankfurt last September.

The F430 Scuderia was built to compete with the likes of Porsche's GT RS models and Lamborghini's Gallardo Superleggera, both stripped out to save weight, with more horsepower and a bigger race track bias while remaining street legal. With a curb weight of 2,756 lbs, the Scuderia is certainly light, weighing about the same as a Mazda 3 sedan, with over three times as much power. This also happens to be about 220 lbs lighter than the regular F430 thanks to the use of lighter materials, including carbon fiber, carbon fiber Super Racing seats, and the removal of sound insulation and carpets.

The engine, in the meantime, has been tuned to produce 510 horsepower at 8,500 rpm, a 27 hp improvement. The Scuderia's power to weight ratio drops to 5.4lbs / horsepower, versus the F430's 6.1 lbs. Top speed is rated at 198mph while 62 mph arrives in less than 3.6 seconds from a standstill. Ferrari says the 430 Scuderia laps its Fiorano test track in the same time as the company's own 650hp Enzo supercar. Just like on that flagship, the brakes are carbon ceramic. Aerodynamics on the Scuderia were also improved compared to the standard car, and changes include a re-sculpted leading edge of the front bumper, a new central lower flap, more angular front air intakes in the bumper and wider-meshed grilles up front. The rear gains downforce thanks to a more aggressive lip spoiler and a new rear diffuser. Ride height is also lower by 0.7 inches on the Scuderia. These changes are good for 165 lbs of downforce at 93 mph and over 660 lbs at top speed.

The Scuderia also sports the exclusive car maker's F1 Superfast electronic transmission with the latest programming that reduces shift times to just 60 milliseconds, according to Ferrari. The Scuderia represents the first use of a combined E-Diff electronic differential with F1-Trac stability control, settings for which are controlled by the steering wheel-mounted manettino dial. Buyers can further personalize their 430 Sucderia through Ferrari's Carrozzeria Scaglietti program, that focuses in this case on the Racing and Track areas.

Courtesy of Ferrari The innovative FXX program, based on the eponymous prototype car and launched by Ferrari in June 2005, is being extended to 2008/2009.

The FXX, which is the most advanced GT ever created at Maranello, has been updated with an evolution package aimed at further improving its handling and performance. The package was developed as a result of Ferrari's collaboration with its Client Test Drivers and with the invaluable support of Michael Schumacher. The FXXs equipped with this package will also sport a new livery in addition to new rear wing profiles. The FXX is not homologated for road use and there are no plans to compete with it either.

In fact, the FXX prototype is designed exclusively for track driving as part of a specific R&D program agreed with a selected group of just over 20 clients involving 14 group test sessions and 14 private ones in the last two years. Thanks to readings taken over the 10,200 miles of tests carried out in 2006 and the 11,500 miles covered in 2007, the modifications made to the car have focused on honing its aerodynamics, running gear and electronics.

Seven-times Formula 1 World Champion Michael Schumacher also joined the ranks of the client test drivers and gave the program the benefit of his vast experience on several occasions.

The Ferrari F50 was a mid-engined range-topping sports car made by Ferrari.

The F50 was introduced in 1995 to celebrate the company's 50th anniversary. The car is a two door, two seat convertible with a removable hardtop.

It has a 4.7 L naturally-aspirated 60-valve V12 engine that was developed from the 3.5 L V12 used in the 1992 Ferrari F92A Formula One car.

Only 349 cars were made, one fewer than Ferrari estimated they could sell. This was, in the words of Ferrari spokesman Antonio Ghini, because "Ferraris are something cultural, a monument. They must be hard to find, so we will produce one less car than the market."

The last F50 was produced in Maranello, Italy in July 1997.

The F50's engine predated the car: It was used in the Ferrari 333 SP for the American IMSA series in 1994 allowing it to become eligible for the stock engine WSC category.

Pagani is a famous auto maker that has created its fair portion of supercars. Nevertheless, it is not a name that is well known. In fact unless you are a car enthusiast numerous of you may have never heard of this name before now. This means that you have never had the joy of seeing the Pagani Zonda R.

This supercar is the epitome of class, speed, and pure power! The Pagani Zonda R was fashioned to be driven on the raceway. In fact the Zonda R was designed after the Zonda F model. The supercar is manufactured with a Carbon-Titanium composite that serves to make it lightweight - without sacrificing rigidity. Below the sleek hood rests a Mercedes AMG 6.0 liter engine that can push out 750 horsepower and 710 Nm of torque. The driver uses a direct throttle actuation that is supercharged through a mechanical cable.

The supercar is also built with a 12 way Bosch Motorsport traction control as well as an ABS system. The inside of any vehicle should be cozy and just as gratifying as the exterior. Pagani suffered no expense when it came to the Zonda R’s interior. The controls within of the vehicle are vast and the whole interior is equipped with a quality finish that gives it a great shine.

The seats are Toora and have five point safety belts as well as a CrMo roll cage that works to keep drivers safe. Those able to obtain a Zonda R will have the ability to experience the best performance and speed on the track that you would never be able to get on the road. It has the power to rev up from 0 to 60 in less than 2.7 seconds. The Pagani Zonda R costs a sum of 1.460.000..

Attempts to beat Ferrari and Porsche at their own game normally meet with the same success as drunken rows with nightclub bouncers, but Horacio Pagani blew the establishment away with the Zonda back in 1999 and raised the bar once again with the Pagani Zonda F. And with the Roadster, the Italian firm might just have created a 214mph, blurred vision of perfection
